Using Zoom / Engaging on line / How we can help you
While we moved quickly into setting this up, not all Members may have engaged in this format and would like some assistance to use Zoom in order to participate. Simply let us know if you require assistance – it is straight forward and with help, you can join in the Programs too. We have a Zoom Support Group ready and willing to provide one on one help.
More Ideas – please contact us
As restrictions continue and all venues remain closed for the foreseeable future – at least till the end of Term 2 – we are looking for new Program ideas. If you have an idea for an online Program suitable for Zoom use or a COVID -19 restriction suitable outdoor activity – do let the Program Team know. Email Program Team firstname.lastname@example.org
Perhaps you could lead a walking group near you if you have an interesting /suitable spot to share, lead a discussion group on a topic of interest to you and no doubt others, or lead a storytelling group and more……….

However it is already presenting it ‘reimagined’ with new entertainment performances on a weekly basis from popular artists in music, dance, comedy, opera, and storytelling and more being added each week. All performances are captioned too.

U3A Moreland AGM (Annual General Meeting)
With the cancellation of our planned April AGM, it is now scheduled for Monday 13th July as a Zoom meeting. All the more reason for you to become familiar with Zoom to be able to join in. Another opportunity to interact with each other even if not in the usual way.
Full information about this and how you may participate will be forwarded shortly – along with information on voting by proxy.
We will also be inviting expressions of interest and nominations for the Committee of Management as we urgently need to fill positions and welcome new input.
We will keep in touch as we might progress to offer more usual Programs in a safe and comfortable way when official guidelines permit. Meantime be assured we will try to do as much as possible to keep engaged with you.
Meantime enjoy some wildlife sounds on the link below, as sent by one of our Members. Our thanks to Chris Moss http://volkerpannes.de/portfolio/bird-song-opera/
